C’est un beau chemin pavé jusqu'à la frontière BC-TNO et il y a environ 35 kms de gravier pour se Fort Liard. C’est une petite communauté principalement d’Inuits. Nous avons acheté un beau petit bol en écorce de bouleau. En revenant on a vu une mère orignal et son petit. Nous avons aussi passé sur le pont Nelson qui traverse la rivière Fort Nelson. C’est le plus long pont d’une structure Acrow au monde. Il est 1410 pieds ou 320 mètres de long. Il est aussi 14 pi de large et un empattement de 239 pi (70 m) d’un pilier à l’autre. Il a été désigné par Sir Donald Bailey. Le design est fait de panneaux de métal interchangeable, joint par des pins qui font que la construction était rapide. Nous avons rencontré trois jeunes hommes de 22-23 ans, qui travaillent pour le Spectrum Energy sur les puits de gaz naturel a 500$/jour.
