| Il fait beau aujourd’hui. Nous partons sur l’Alaska Highway, mile 0, en direction de Fort Nelson. Nous avons passé sur le seul pont original de la route construite en 1942. En chemin, nous décidons de faire un petit détour en auto pour voir le barrage W.A.C. Bennett. Un petit detour de 240 kms (aller-retour). C’est un barrage de 600 pieds de haut, qui contient 100 millions de tonnes de terre. C’est l’une des plus grosses structures remplit de terre au monde. Le barrage fourni 25 % de l’hydro-électricité de la Colombie-Britannique. On dine dans le RV et reprenons la route. Il y a beaucoup de pins qui sont infestés par une bibitte et les arbres sont tous rouges. Nous arrivons à Fort Nelson et nous allons rester au camping pour 2 soirs car demain on veut visiter Fort Liard dans les Territoires du Nord-ouest. Aujourd’hui nous avons voyage 483 km en RV et 240 km en autos. | The weather today is good. We start on the Alaska Highway, at mile 0, towards Fort Nelson. We drive on the only original road bridge built in 1942. Along the way, we decided to make a detour by car to see the dam WAC Bennett. A small detour of 240 km (round trip).
