| On part du parc vers 9 :30a.m. et il fait très beau et chaud. La route est belle, 4 lignes tout le long. Tout est plat, on doit être dans les Prairies. Il y a plusieurs champs de différentes cultures : blé, canola, maïs, avoine, lin … avec même des enseignes pour indiquer la culture. On arrête pour voir la statue du cheval blanc. Ceci démontre l’endroit où une jeune femme Assiniboin avec son amant Cree se sauvent d’un homme de la nation Sioux qui la voulait pour sa femme. Plus tard, on arrête pour dîner et on voit un chien de prairie qui se promène autour de notre RV. Il se promène d’un trou à l’autre. Nous voici maintenant dans la province de Saskatchewan. Aujourd’hui nous avons voyagé 531 km. |
We leave the park around 9:30 a.m. and it is very nice and warm. The road is beautiful, four lines all the way. Everything is flat, we must be in the prairies. There are several fields of different crops: wheat, canola, corn, oats, flax ... with small signs to indicate the culture. We stop seeing the statue of a white horse. This shows where a young woman with her Assiniboine Cree lover of a man fled from a man of the Sioux nation that wanted her for his wife.
