Quel exploit ! Les photos en disent long sur
cette aventure mirifique.</span><br />

<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>

<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
Ronald
était émerveillé. Il a pris 900 photos !!!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;" wfd-id="68">

<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
thermiques locales.</span><br />
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;" wfd-id="67">

<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
l’autre l’Alaska Highway.</span><br />
<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>
destinée à la ruée vers l’or.</span><br />

<span face=""arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif"><br /></span>

As part of the show, the can-can girls selected four men from the crowd to show them how to do it. They made the mistake of choosing me—as I have two left feet and they’re not very coordinated. I got a lot of laughter from the crowd. Then the other part of the show was to take off the young ladies’ garter belts. The first two gentlemen got them off in about 30 seconds. When it came to me—and I had only ever done this once, when I got married to my wife—I told the girl I was going to take my time. I made a big show of it, taking it down and putting it back up and licking her knees. It lasted almost a minute and I got a standing ovation from the crowd.”</span></div>

The World’s Only Corn
Palace ».
Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. On se sent chez nous. </span></td>

<td style="width: 50%;" valign="top"><span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Nous
arrière-plan dans le film « Close Encounter of the Third Kind ». On a vu
travers : « Thread the Needles ».

On

Yellowstone.</span></div>
<br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Couvrant
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">L'occupation
<br />
<span style="font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;">Le

<b>Yellowstone National Park</b> is a national park located primarily in the U.S. state of Wyoming, although it also extends into Montana and Idaho. It was established by the U.S. Congress and signed into law by President Ulysses S. Grant on March 1, 1872. Yellowstone, the first National Park in the U.S. and widely held to be the first national park in the world, is known for its wildlife and its many geothermal features, especially Old Faithful Geyser, one of the most popular features in the park. It has many types of ecosystems, but the subalpine forest is most abundant. It is part of the South Central Rockies forests ecoregion.<br />
Native Americans have lived in the Yellowstone region for at least 11,000 years. Aside from visits by mountain men during the early-to-mid-19th century, organized exploration did not begin until the late 1860s. The U.S. Army was commissioned to oversee the park just after its establishment. In 1917, administration of the park was transferred to the National Park Service, which had been created the previous year. Hundreds of structures have been built and are protected for their architectural and historical significance, and researchers have examined more than 1,000 archaeological sites.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>Grand Teton National Park</b> is a United States National Park in northwestern Wyoming. At approximately 310,000 acres (1 254 km2), the park includes the major peaks of the 40-mile-long (64 km) Teton Range as well as most of the northern sections of the valley known as Jackson Hole. It is only 10 miles (16 km) south of Yellowstone National Park, to which it is connected by the National Park Service-managed John D. Rockefeller, Jr. Memorial Parkway. Along with surrounding National Forests, these three protected areas constitute the almost 18,000,000-acre (7,300,000 ha) Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, one of the largest intact mid-latitude temperate ecosystems in the world.<br />
<br />
Human history of the Grand Teton region dates back at least 10,000 years, when the first nomadic hunter-gatherer Paleo-Indians began migrating into the region during warmer months pursuing food and supplies. In the early 19th century, the first White explorers encountered the eastern Shoshone natives. Between 1810 and 1840, the region attracted fur trading companies that vied for control of the lucrative beaver pelt trade. U.S. Government expeditions to the region commenced in the mid-19th century as an offshoot of exploration in Yellowstone, with the first permanent white settlers in Jackson Hole arriving in the 1880s. Efforts to preserve the region as a national park commenced in the late 19th century, and in 1929 Grand Teton National Park was established, protecting the major peaks of the Teton Range. The valley of Jackson Hole remained in private ownership until the 1930s, when conservationists led by John D. Rockefeller, Jr. began purchasing land in Jackson Hole to be added to the existing national park. Against public opinion and with repeated Congressional efforts to repeal the measures, much of Jackson Hole was set aside for protection as Jackson Hole National Monument in 1943. The monument was abolished in 1950 and most of the monument land was added to Grand Teton National Park. <br />

On a pris
plusieurs photos de tout ça. On a voyagé 473 km ce jour là. On arrête
pour coucher à Haines Junction. Ensuite, samedi, on décide d’aller à
Haines, Alaska.
chutes « Million Dollar Falls ».

We also took pictures of a large RV that was pulling a two level trailer, which had a Jeep, and above Jeep there was a big boat.

When we arrive in Whitehorse, it rains regularly. En route, we saw a mother moose that was eating on the edge of a stream, a couple who walked the Alaska Highway and the old trucks of the time of construction in 1942. We stopped to see the falls which are a 10-minute walk off the highway and also to buy huge World Famous cinnamon bun. We saw some beautiful scenery on our way but we could not always stop taking pictures. Today we travel 442 km. We will stay for three nights in Whitehorse.
